These elective surgeries as well as ear cropping have been deemed inhumane and are illegal in many countries as well as parts of Canada. This is currently a hot topic of discussion in Saskatchewan as well.
Elective surgeries are performed in the morning on weekdays. These need to be booked in advance as there are precautionary measures and requirements for different types of surgeries. When you book an appointment for surgery, there is important information that we need to relay to you prior to you dropping off your pet and signing the consent forms.
